In the height of the yachting season, the Modern Boat team, in collaboration with Némo Marine, Seakeeper specialist, took on a major technical challenge: the complete replacement of a Seakeeper Gyro 18 stabilizer sphere.

This central element, weighing nearly one ton and now essential for our boat owners, was replaced in record time. Thanks to precise organization, the sphere was shipped express from the United States and installed on our client's yacht in just three days.

Replacing a gyroscopic stabilizer is a delicate operation that requires precision and technical skill. The success of this operation relies on five key pillars:
International logistics: rapid delivery of the sphere from the United States.
Technical skill: disassembly and reassembly precisely carried out by certified technicians.
Crane operator dexterity: the sphere was moved with pinpoint accuracy, from the entry through the aft stairs down to its positioning in the engine room.
Respect for the vessel: no cutting or structural modifications to the hull were required, guaranteeing the yacht's complete integrity.
Performance: minimized downtime allowing our client to enjoy their boat without interruption.
This operation perfectly illustrates Modern Boat's DNA: availability, responsiveness, and a constant drive for service excellence.
